Cement Lining 

Our Metalfit fittings are cement lined and seal coated per ANSI/AWWA C104/A21.4 unless another lining below is requested or requested bare. 

Protecto 401 

Metalfit is a licensed applicator of P401 used to line ductile iron sewer pipe and fittings. It is not for use as a potable water lining. Click here for more specifications.   https://www.protecto401.com/ 

Ceramapure PL 90 may be used “AS EQUAL” to to ceramic modified novolac epoxy, and may be used for potable water lining of ductile iron pipes and fittings. Click here for more information.    https://www.ceramapure.com/

Coatings

Tnemec TN140-1211 Epoxy Primer is used to coat and protect all Metalfit fittings unless another coating below is requested. Get more information. 

Bituminous Coating (Asphalt) provides excellent adhesion, moisture resistance, limited protection for bare iron surfaces and is mostly used as a surface sealant.

Arc Spray Zinc Metallizing is an extremely effective undercoat due to its excellent adhesive properties and enhances the corrosion resistance of the coated surfaces. Get more information.
